Jyotiraditya Scindia, mother test positive for coronavirus; hospitalized in Delhi

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Jyotiraditya Scindia and his mother Madhavi Raje Scindia tested positive for coronavirus on Tuesday.

The PTI news agency has mentioned sources confirming that Scindia tested positive for COVID-19.

The mother-son duo were admitted to the Max Super Specialty hospital in Delhis Saket on Monday after complaining of throat irritation. They also had a fever.

Neither the Max Hospital nor the Scindia family made a statement.

Meanwhile, Congress Chairman Abhishek Manu Singhvi tweeted, “Not so good news. Jyotiraditya Scindia and his mother tested positive for Korona. The former Cong, who became the MP’s BJP leader, was hospitalized.

Recently, national BJP spokesman Sambit Patra, who was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Haryana’s Gurugram after showing signs of coronavirus-like symptoms, tweeted earlier that he was being released. “Prayers for @JM_Scindiaji and his mother get well soon,” Patra tweeted.

In another development, Delhi’s chief minister, Arvind Kejriwal, underwent a COVID-19 test today after complaining of a sore throat and mild fever on Sunday afternoon.

The test report will likely appear later this evening or on Wednesday morning

“Nothing has changed in my Twitter biography. The reports in the media have no basis. People shouldn’t pay attention to such rumors. The things that were included in the biography when I joined the BJP are still there as I came in, there was only one change to the photo on Twitter, “Scindia had told IANS.
