According to Hindu belief, Lord Parshuram is considered a “Brahmin” warrior. In some Hindu texts, Parshurama was referred to as Rama Jamadagnya, Rama Bhargava and Veerarama.
Hindu belief dictates that he still lives on earth. Therefore, he is not worshiped. On Parashurama Jayanti followers observe fasting and worship Lord Vishnu with flowers, kumkum, chandan and tulsi leaves.
