Popular Tamil actor Vadivel Balaji died of a heart attack on Thursday at the Chennai Government Hospital. The 45-year-old actor was known for his imitation and imitation of the body language of the famous comedian Vadivelu.

Several celebrities paid tribute to Vadivel Balaji on social media. Actors Dhanush, Prasanna and Aishwarya Rajessh and many others have expressed their condolences on Twitter.

Actor Dhanush expressed his condolences to his family and said he was “deeply saddened and disturbed by the sudden death of the great talent Vadivel Balaji”. “May his soul rest in peace,” he tweeted.

After the time of India, Balaji is survived by his wife, son and daughter. The comedian was apparently paralyzed after the heart attack and had been receiving treatment for 15 days.

The actor was reportedly moved to a couple of other hospitals because the family could not manage the expenses and he was admitted to a government hospital this morning for his last breath.

He was first made famous by Vijay TV’s Kalaka Povadhu Yaaru and was part of the Vijay TV comedy team. He also starred in several films and the roles were similar to those in Vadivelu in his films.

Balaji has appeared in films such as Pandhayam, Sutta Pazham, Sudatha Pazham, Kadhal Panchayathu, Karpanai, and Yaaruda Mahesh. He was shooting for Mr & Mrs Chinnathirai 2 until a few weeks ago and apparently had also dropped out of the show.
